Incident Summary: Rainbow experienced an outage due to a licensing issue. Although the LiteSpeed license had been renewed, the system continued to treat it as expired.
Root Cause: The existing license key was incorrectly flagged as expired by the LiteSpeed service, despite showing as active and renewed within the dashboard.
Resolution: We engaged LiteSpeed support, who issued a new license key during the night. Applying this key immediately restored full service functionality.
Preventative Measures: We are reviewing our license validation checks and will implement monitoring to detect and alert for early signs of similar issues in future.
